"Learning by doing" is the motto of teaching at Cambridge; and Science is a subject of observations, analysis and conclusions. Composite Science lab in CIS, Kapurthala is a site for experiments and observations. It is an ultimate place, well equipped with everything used for experiments are of world class standard. It is fully air-conditioned to give students a comfortable stay at the laboratory. Therefore, lab programs have been designed with the following fundamental goals in mind:

Chemistry Lab
Lab work is an integral part of the chemistry experience. It allows students to explore chemical concepts, view changes in matter, and acquire scientific skills as an atmosphere that mimics a professional scientific environment. It provides various practical experiences starting from the theory of chemistry, physics and biology, the primary aim of chemistry laboratory learning for students is to develop practical competence. It provides opportunities for students to relate and reinforce the theoretical concepts discussed in class. It is well equipped with the modern equipment’s.

Physics Lab
Physics lab is designed to give  practice of taking measurements, analysing data and drawing inferences while the students experiment. Our school’s physics laboratory equipped with modern equipments to help the students to learn concepts of physics with experiment. Our school’s laboratory is quite spacious and very well ventilated to ensure proper availability of light in it. Laboratory can accommodate 30 students conducting experiments in group of two depending on the experiments at hand. It has large demonstration tables.

Biology Lab
Biology Lab follows the concept of experiment learning. It makes learning conductive which provides in depth concept clarity with an active participation of students. Working in Lab inculcates the sense of team work hands on activity. It makes learning goal oriented. That contributes towards productive outputs.The students learn here the diverse forms,  use of microscope and various physiological processes. Lab is equipped with all modern equipment’s to support class room learning.
